In a greetings letter on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the episcopal consecration of Patriarch Sviatoslav, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expressed his gratitude for the service of the Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church to Ukrainians, the spread of Christian and moral values, as well as good deeds aimed at the development of the Ukrainian society, in particular, the development of the chaplaincy and support of Ukrainian soldiers.

“These ten years have witnessed your high virtues of a Christian and a shepherd, your ascetic willingness to serve the Church community and the entire Ukrainian nation in the trials that befell it. I highly appreciate your personal contribution to the volunteer work of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in support of our soldiers, the development of the service of the chaplains and all that is done by you for victory and peace,” said President Poroshenko in his address.
