From RISU:
The silver hanukkah recently donated by philanthropist Alexander Petrovsky to the Dnipro Jewish community in the local Menorah center may appear in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest silver sculpture in the world.
Editor’s Note:
The Hanukkah menorah, also chanukiah or hanukkiah (Hebrew: מנורת חנוכה menorat ḥanukkah, pl. menorot; also Hebrew: חַנֻכִּיָּה ḥanukkiyah, or chanukkiyah, pl. ḥanukkiyot/chanukkiyot, or Yiddish: חנוכּה לאָמפּ khanike lomp, lit.: Hanukkah lamp) is a nine-branched candelabrum lit during the eight-day holiday of Hanukkah, as opposed to the seven-branched menorah used in the ancient Temple or as a symbol. (Wikipedia)
Chief Engineer of Menorah Center Alexander Miroshnik stated that the height of Hanukkah is 252.5 cm, and the width - 197 cm. Measurements were accompanied by photo and video. In the near future, the documents will be sent to the organization responsible for receiving applications for records.
