Inflation in Ukraine slowed down in 2011 to 4.6%


KYIV January 27, 2012 (UBO) – Prime Minister Mykola Azarov forecasts inflation in January at 0.3 percent, UkrInform reported.

“January ends and inflation will be approximately 0.3 percent,” he said.

According to the State Statistics Service, inflation in Ukraine slowed down in 2011 to 4.6 percent from 9.1 percent a year earlier.

In December 2011, inflation in Ukraine made up 0.2 percent.
