The Polish visa center in Dnipropetrovsk has become the fourth similar structure in Ukraine and the first in its eastern part
DNIPROPETROVSK, January 27, 2012 (UBO) – A Polish visa center was opened in Dnipropetrovsk by Jan Granat, general consul of the Republic of Poland in Kharkiv, Yevhen Udod, chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council and Ivan Stupak, deputy chairman of Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration, UkrInform reported.
“The opening of a visa application centre of the Polish embassy in Dnipropetrovsk is another important step, which will bring our peoples together, further improve the extension of business contacts, cooperation in various fields, and most importantly will help strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between people,” Udod said.
He reminded that Poland is a key economic partner of Ukraine and its Dnipropetrovsk region, in particular. The Polish visa center in Dnipropetrovsk has become the fourth similar structure in Ukraine and the first in its eastern part.
The new center will provide about 45 visas a day. Overall, in 2011 the citizens of Ukraine were issued over 570 thousand Polish visas of various types.
