“Now in the occupied territories, there are 700 Russian tanks, more than a thousand artillery systems, more than 300 MLRS [Multiple Launch Rocket System]. This is more than that of the German Bundeswehr,” the President said.

In an interview to Serbian TV channel RTS, President Petro Poroshenko emphasized that there were no “red lines” for Russia and it’s not a frozen conflict, but a hot war in the Donbas.

“First of all, Russia does not have “red lines”. If in January 2014, you had asked me: is it possible that Russia makes an armed aggression against Ukraine? I would have said it’s not possible. The same goes about Crimea. There are no “red lines” for Russia, including open war,” the Head of State noted.

“It’s not a frozen conflict. It’s a hot war,” he added.

The President emphasized: “Ukraine is fighting for peace and return of Ukrainian sovereignty over the occupied territories. Nothing more”.

According to him, there are three important documents - the Minsk agreements of September 5, 2014 and September 19, as well as the document dated February 12, 2015. "This complex of measures includes the withdrawal of foreign troops and military equipment from the Ukrainian territory. Now in the occupied territories, there are 700 Russian tanks, more than a thousand artillery systems, more than 300 MLRS [Multiple Launch Rocket System]. This is more than that of German Bundeswehr. This is a real aggression against a sovereign and independent state of Ukraine," the Head of State said.
