Powerful wind power station opened in Ukraine

UDP Renewables, which is part of the development group UDP, introduced its first SES in the Kyiv region and announced plans to build in Ukraine a number of renewable energy facilities with a combined capacity of 300 MW, most of which are solar power plants.

Kherson: In the Kherson region near the village of Novotroitskoye, the first phase of a 70 MW wind farm was put into operation, the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine reports.

 

The launch of the next green project proves that investors have become more active and are interested in investing in the installation of power plants on renewable energy sources. Such successful cases are the result of persistent work of both the government and parliament, as well as State Energy Efficiency and all players in the renewable energy market, Sergei Savchuk, chairman of the State Energy Efficiency Agency, said at the opening of the Novotroitsk wind farm.

 

It is reported that the capacity of the first stage of the station is 15 MW. According to the project, the total capacity of the station will be almost 70 MW and it will become one of the three largest and most powerful in Ukraine. The station consists of wind power plants of one of the world's largest manufacturers of wind generators - the Danish company Vestas. The project is jointly financed by Ukrgasbank, Windkraft Tavria and international financial organizations.
