For Passover, which begins at sundown on April 10 this year, The Fellowship will be distributing special foods for the seder meal to Jewish people in need throughout the former Soviet Union (FSU). The distribution will include 35,000 boxes of staple foods, 100,000 boxes of matzah, and 75,000 bottles of grape juice. We also will be organizing Passover seders for 15,000 people in 260 communities through the FSU.

Last week the first container of matzah from Israel arrived at the port of Odesa, Ukraine, for distribution throughout this country that has been mired in violence and unrest for years. Trucks have also been sent to the war zone in Donbas and Luhansk, Ukraine, hoping that these shipments will make it through the checkpoints and arrive at the homes of Jewish people in the region who need to celebrate this holiday commemorating God’s deliverance of His people now more than ever.
