KYIV, April 28. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Oschadbank has begun confiscating the frozen financial assets belonging to former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his associates with their subsequent transfer to the country’s state budget, the press service of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) reported on Friday. "According to the ruling of the court of the last resort, the assets of Yanukovych and his team - $1.5 bln - have been arrested and are to be transferred to the state budget. Ukraine’s Prosecutor-General Yury Lutsenko and NSDC Secretary Alexander Turchynov have just visited Oschadbank with this (court) decision," the Ukrainska Pravda newspaper reported citing the NSDC.
