Caritas Lviv launches a program to help IDPs and ATO veterans

From Caritas Lviv, Nov 1, 2016:

 

Caritas Lviv UGCC charity fund with the support of the Democracy Fund of the US Embassy in Ukraine launched the socio-educational project Complex educational program of advisory assistance to internally displaced persons and ATO veterans. The program provides free of charge access to quality legal, financial, economic and psychological assistance (in the form of training and consulting).

 

Highly qualified practitioners (lawyers, psychologists, business trainers and scholars) were involved to help internally displaced persons, veterans ATO and their families with find solutions to difficult situations today.

 

Major project partners Department of Social Protection Department of Humanitarian Policy of Lviv City Council, “Western Ukrainian audit company,” Center for personal development Unicum.”

 

The “Integrated education and counseling program for assistance to IDPs and ATO veterans based on Caritas Lviv” is being implemented in the following areas

 

- “Know your rights” - training seminars on legal issues, individual primary legal counseling to the selected target audience;

 

- “Financial and economic literacy - the key to personal success” - training seminars on personal finance and economic education, self-management and creating own business;

 

- “Get back your peace” - training seminars on psychological topics, individual psychological counseling.

 

Meetings are held weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 15.00 to 19.00 at 9 Franko street in Lviv (buildings of Charitable Foundation Caritas Lviv UGCC, 2nd floor).
